Unfair rivalry on the telecommunication services market

Everyone should know that one minute is composed of sixty seconds. But newly one of the IDT corporations announced that most of corporations, that provide phone cards, give only 36 seconds in exchange of 60. According to the statement done by some IDT corporation, a lot of telephone card corporations are taking part in unjust competition. IDT/UTA (Union Telecard Alliance) company made a resolve to sue the different companies-providers of prepaid phone cards for the unjust competition circumstances on a telephone services market.

IDT/UTA had alleged that unlike its proper calling cards, those of many of their rivals deliver only approximately 60 percent of the minutes of telecommunications services proposed and promoted on voice help heard by customers in connection with calls made by using the defendants' cards and advertised by such rivals on radio, magazines, poster, internet, or other medium. Last year Total Call International and IDT/UTA was accused of unlawful procedures by the group of telephone companies that included IDT Telecom Inc. and LLC. It is the fourth group of defendants which have resolved the litigation initiated by IDT/UTA. Epana Networks, Inc., Dollar Phone Corp. and related structures, and Locus Telecommunications, Inc are also attracted into the trial. That incomplete suit is still on approval in the federal court in Newark, New Jersey.
